HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS
NovaZip removes the air that's in the bag right now, it's an excellent short-to-medium-term solution, not a permanent seal.
Ordinary zipper bags are slightly air-permeable, so air seeps back in slowly over days and they'll re-inflate a little; just re-vacuum.
For long-term freezer storage where nothing gets opened for weeks or months, a proprietary valve bags is still the right tool. We'd rather tell you that up front than sell you a surprise.
